Description
Athens-Oconee Court Appointed Special Advocates for children provides trained screened advocates for children who have been abused and neglected. These advocates, or CASAs, report to the court and make recommendations as to what is in the best interest of the child. We work with the courts and in the community to ensure the child's time in fostercare is as brief and painless as possible. We believe that every child deserves a safe and permanent home.
