Vision Statement
The Carson J Spencer Foundation strives to help people live their best lives by shining a
light of hope illuminating dreams and by offering guidance during difficult turns in the
journey.
Mission Statement
In order to fulfill this vision, the Carson J Spencer Foundation promotes entrepreneurial
ideals through:
1. Venture philanthropy funding mental health social enterprises that seek to
remove the stigma of mental disorders and prevent suicide while providing
both a fiscal and social return on investment.
2. Innovative programming and advocacy work preventing suicide and
addressing the mental health needs of the workplace.
3. Scholarships to individuals showing entrepreneurial promise.
