Description

Carrollwood Day School serves students from 2-years-old through high school. CDS is recognized nationally for academic excellence and its school-wide emphasis on character development. CDS is the first school in Florida authorized by the prestigious International Baccalaureate Organization to offer all 3 IB programmes for students in preschool through high school and is the 6th school in the US to achieve this honor. The CDS championship athletic program is one of seven schools in the state recognized in 2008 by the FHSAA for exemplary sportsmanship. CDS is a non-sectarian, co-educational, independent day school accredited by the Florida Council of Independent Schools (FCIS), Southern Association of Colleges and School (SACS), Florida Kindergarten Council (FKC), International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) and National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).
