Founded as the Charlotte Choral Society in 1953 and renamed Carolina Voices in 2000, Carolina Voices has been giving voice – literally – to the human experience for more than 50 years.
As Charlotte's premier choral organization, Carolina Voices is known first and foremost for its annual production of The Singing Christmas Tree. The organization has grown from modest beginnings into a choral arts organization embracing more than 110 volunteer singers with four vocal ensembles including the MainStage Choir, Festival Singers, NoteAbility and Impromptu! which all perform a variety of music that is unequaled in the Charlotte community.
With a rich legacy – and even more exciting vision for the future – Carolina Voice is proud to provide a dynamic resource for those in greater Charlotte who wish to perform choral music as well as for those who enjoy listening to it.
