Description
Since 1994, the Carlito's Wish Foundation, a 501 (c) 3 not for profit wish granting foundation has put smiles on the faces of children suffering from life threatening illnesses.
Carlos M. L. Ottley was also known as Carlito. After a long battle with leukemia, Carlito died at the age of twelve on October 30, 1992. Carlito was a happy, friendly and giving person. He delighted in other people's happiness and his family and friends thought it befitting to honor his life and his great spirit by forming a foundation that did just that, make other children happy. In remembrance of Carlito, his parents, family, and friends founded the Carlito's Wish Foundation in April 1994.
