Description
A no-kill animal sanctuary dedicated to caring for homeless dogs and cats. The sanctuary is located in central Virginia (Palmyra, VA) and has been in continuous operation since 1988. The sanctuary provides a safe refuge for cats and dogs who have been neglected, abandoned, mistreated and ignored as well as others who are "at risk" due to personal issues such as domestic violence, divorce, or senior citizens who must leave their animal companions and move into a long-term care facility. In addition, Caring For Creatures is one of the very few rescue organization in the country that provides ongoing care for leukemia and FIV positive cats.
