Description

Caring & Sharing is a community based service and advocacy organization for persons with disabilities. It is consumer driven in that persons with disabilities make up a majority of the board of directors and staff. It offers four core services: Information & Referral on products and services; Peer Mentoring; Independent Living Skills Training and Individual and Systems Advocacy. Additional services: home modifications, transitioning persons from nursing homes into the community, durable medical equipment loan and repair, accessibility consultation and ADA training and surveys.
