Child Advocacy Resource and Education Inc. (c.a.r.e.) is a private, not-for-profit 501 (c)(3) agency whose professional staff have been working for more than 30 years to prevent child abuse and neglect. Our mission statement is "To Strenthen and preserve families while keeping children safe from abuse and neglect". Founded in 1976, c.a.r.e. provides many direct services to individuals and families, including parent education, children’s programs, supervised visitation and safe exchanges, home-based parent education and community education.
