Through an innovative spectrum of service including training, career development, job placement and intensive support, The Cara Program helps individuals affected by homelessness and poverty transform their lives and achieve real and lasting success. Since 1991, The Cara Program has placed over 1,900 individuals in permanent, quality jobs with benefits, most recently at an average hourly wage of $10.50, and job retention rates at one year of employment of 67%.
