Description
CapraCare is a 501(c)(3) non-profit community health organization that was founded in April of 2009, with the goal of developing a community school health program to address many of the health dilemmas faced by students and families in the rural community of Fonfrede, Haiti. Through the dedicated work of our community volunteers, our motto “promoting health change through individual acts of courage” is evident in our mission to reduce health problems within schools and in the community that are largely due to socio-economic status, difficult daily living conditions, and lack of access to medical care services.
