Description
CCYS promotes the healthy development of youth and families. (Mission Statement)
We work with at risk youth and their families in the Big Bend (8 counties) area of North Florida. We operate a youth crisis shelter (Someplace Else), a non residential counseling program (The Family Place) and provide the national outreach program - Safe Place - in our area. The youth we serve are truant, runaways, ungovernable, homeless, abused, neglected or in other types of crisis situations.
