Free Services for All Types of Cancer
The Wellness Community of Philadelphia provides psychological and emotional support services, educational workshops, stress management seminars and social events. People are taught how to become "patient active" and get involved in their own treatment with their health care team. Our goal is to help people with cancer improve the quality of their lives by teaching them strategies to cope with the stress of cancer. We provide a "safe haven" for people with cancer and their loved ones from which they can derive information, support and hope.
