Description
The Campus Kitchens Project (CKP), started in 2001, is a student-driven hunger relief organization. The goal of The Campus Kitchens Project is to use existing community resources in an efficient way to address the immediate problems of hunger while promoting long-term solutions to food insecurity. The Campus Kitchens Project partners with high schools, colleges, and universities to share on-campus kitchen space, rescue unserved food from on-campus dining services, and mobilize student volunteers to bring meals to community-based agencies and individuals in their local communities.
