The students are given the opportunity to learn about the world around them through project-based, hands-on activities. There are opportunities for each child to seek out and discover much more than can be found between the covers of a single book. Campus Community School gives children of all abilities the chance to become excited about the process of learning...anything and everything. CCS students study a core curriculum based on concept knowledge, The Arts are integrated and taught in tandem with the classroom teachers. Students use the Arts not only as a tool to express their new knowledge, but more importantly, as a vehicle in which to learn math, science, social studies and language arts. The core curriculum itself is integrated, as in real life. One is hard pressed to do science without math, or social studies without reading. Students find those natural connections which allow them to come to their own individual sense of learning, along their own individual path
