Description

Camp Wyoming is a Presbyterian summer camp and year-round retreat center located in Wyoming, Iowa. The 389 acre Camp is conveniently centered about 60 miles from Dubuque, Cedar Rapids, Iowa City, & the Quad Cities. The Camp opened in 1960 and is owned by the East Iowa Presbytery. Camp Wyoming operates a summer camp program for youth in grades K-12th. The camp runs traditional activities such as nature walks, arts-n-crafts, swimming, and campfires. The camp also expand their programming for older youth with adventurous activities like caving, canoeing, rock climbing, and kayaking. Camp Wyoming also offers its site, facilities, and recreational resources for families and organizations to use for their own retreat experience. The Camp's accomodations include cabins, a two bedroom home, an adult & family retreat center, treehouses, and RV campground. In addition, groups can kayak, swim in the pool, hike, walk in the Labyrinth, participate in the challenge course, or go caving.
