An all-volunteer non-profit, the Camp Nelson Honor Guard, Jessamine County Kentucky, performs enhanced military funeral rites for veterans around central Kentucky, primarily at the Camp Nelson National Cemetery/National Shrine.
Using rescued horses, replica Civil War uniforms and a handbuilt caisson, they bring dignity, honor and tradition to our veterans, the military and their family and friends. "Poor is the nation that has no heroes; shameful is the nation who has them and forgets."
