Description
Camp Kesem provides a safe, supportive and exciting camp experience for children in the Chicago area who have a parent who has died from cancer, is currently in treatment for cancer, or is in remission from cancer. Campers have the unique opportunity to build friendships and gain strength from peers facing similar challenges. Camp Kesem strives to empower students to participate in community service by providing leadership positions, organizational roles, and opportunities to work directly or indirectly with children who have/had a parent with cancer.
