The Calverton School, Southern Maryland’s Leader in college preparatory education, is an independent day school located in Huntingtown, Calvert County, Maryland, approximately 45 minutes southeast of Washington, DC; 30 minutes south of Annapolis, Maryland; and 25 minutes north of Solomons, Maryland. This year marks the School’s 40th year of educating students. The School enrolls over 400 students, in pre-school through grade 12, and all of its graduates are accepted into four-year colleges and universities. Current students matriculate from Calvert, Charles, St. Mary's, Anne Arundel, and Prince George's Counties. The School provides bus transportation to each of these areas. Calverton's Extended Day Program offers both before and after school care for students.
