The purposes of the Foundation include granting wishes and providing financial assistance to kids fighting cancer and their families.
Cal’s All-Star Angel Foundation, Inc. is a tax exempt, 501(c)(3) non-profit pediatric cancer foundation and was formed in 2007 to honor the memory of Cal Sutter. In June of 2005, Cal Sutter, a 12-year old South Elgin Little League All Star, was diagnosed with Acute Myelogenous Leukemia. He endured several intensive treatments, but ultimately succumbed on August 28th, 2006. Even though Cal lost his battle to this disease, the courage he displayed throughout inspired his family to start this Foundation to help other children battling childhood cancers.
