The California Aquatic Therapy & Wellness Center, Inc. (a not for profit organization) is known as the premier provider of aquatic exercise and physical therapy programs for people with disabilities, frail health, and the elderly. Our conditioning and rehabilitation programs cater to populations with special health needs as a means for these individuals to improve their mobility and strength. For many disabled and elderly, physical activities on land are too difficult, create discomfort, or pose substantial risk of injury. The Aquatic Center’s programs use the properties of the warm-water pools - buoyancy and viscosity - to provide resistance without the use of weights to assist with patient healing and strengthening. The pools kept 91-94 degree for therapy and equipped with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) approved ramps, hydrophilic lifts and water wheel chairs, which offer easy access to the healing waters for those with limited mobility.
