Description
The California Forest Pest Council, founded in 1951 is comprised of private and public forest managers, entomologists, pathologists and others interested in the protection of forests from damage caused by animals, insects, pathogens and weeds. The Council's annual meetingm task forces, and field toursl provide the membership a chance to review developments in forest health, forest pests, to formulate and vote on resolutions, and to address topics of special concern. Membership in the CFPC is granted to anyone attending the meetings.
