Mission Statement
1. ADVOCATE FOR FAIRNESS AND EQUITY IN FAMILY COURT
-Draft legislation and seek sponsorss
-Generate media publicity for family law issues and injustices
-Submit amicus briefs in cases involving equality and fairness
-Facilitate educational workshops for judges, and mediators
2. ADVOCATE FOR CONFLICT REDUCTION
-Promote Collaborative Practice
-Provide information to the Judicial Council Administrative Office of the Court
-Work directly with Center for Families, Children & the Courts for outreach on Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR)
-Collaborate with mental health and family law experts to reduce post- separation conflict for the well being of children
3. ADVOCATE FOR JOINT CUSTODY AND CO-PARENTING
-Distribute policy documents on co parenting and joint custodywith studies and data.
