Description
Burma Lifeline is dedicated to raising funds to help the estimated 1-2 million refugees fleeing from the tyranny in Burma to survive in neighboring countries (principally Thailand) until they can one day return to their peaceful lives at home.
Started by Inge and Tad Sargent in 1995, Burma Lifeline is one of the few organizations providing food, shelter, medical care, and basic education to families who risk everything to get out of Burma. It takes only $20 per month to help a family of five survive once they cross the border. 100% of proceeds go to help these refugees.
