Description
BuildaBridge International is a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing hope and healing to individuals and communities in the tough places of the world through arts-integrated education, therapeutic intervention and cross-cultural service. We enlist, train and engage artists in service to others.
Our motto is "Speaking a Blessing into the life of every child, every day through the arts." We focus on artistic, academic, social and inner character skills.
Our three overall programs are:
1. Community Arts Program - An arts intervention and education program serving and inspiring Philadelphia's marginalized communities.
2. The Institute for Arts & Transformation - A training and applied research institute preparing practitioners for arts-enriched community service.
3. Overseas Programs - A travel program taking our arts intervention and training institute abroad through team service and global education trips.
