Everyday, children from every race, culture and socioeconomic background experience mental health issues. In fact, in the United States one in 10 children suffers from a mental illness, but less than half of those children receive the treatment they need.
Since 1961, The Buckeye Ranch has offered treatment and support to countless children and families who struggle with emotional, behavioral and mental health issues. It is The Ranch’s mission to provide hope for children, strengthen families and support communities through our prevention programs, family-based care and research.
As the largest, private mental health facility dedicated to the treatment of youth in Ohio, The Ranch touches the lives of more than 1,650 children and families every day. With a wide array of programs and services, The Ranch is able to provide high quality, individualized care that focuses on the strengths of each child and family.
