Description
The Brotherhood/Sister Sol is an award-winning nonprofit organization founded in 1995 to provide the love, guidance and nurturning necessary to help Black and Latino youth develop into empowered critical thinkers and community leaders. We offer a wide range of programs for NYC youth ages 6 to 18 in our brownstone in Harlem including educational support, rites of passage, youth leadership development, community organizing, career development and international study to more than 200 youth annually. Our programs have successfully and consistently proven to help youth develop alternatives to dealing with poverty, drugs, crime, racism and miseducation.
