The Brockton Area Workforce Investment Board (BAWIB) is a non-profit organization.

BAWIB oversees and implements workforce development activities in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

We are brokers for public workforce development funds and activities and connect employers with job seekers.

The Brockton Area Workforce Investment Board (BAWIB) is one of 16 Workforce Investment Boards (WIBs) statewide working to build links between the business community and the workforce.

The Board oversees and implements workforce development activities in the Greater Brockton Region. We are composed of private sector business people, labor, education, and community leaders and serve as conduits for federal and state workforce development funds. The Workforce Board also helps to connect employees with job seekers and provides current members of the workforce, and those seeking employment, with the training they need.
