Description

IMAGINE BUILDING A SCHOOL...
AND THEN JUST GIVING IT AWAY.
With the help of more than 100 Partners, The Green Schoolhouse Series is building more than 50 highly sustainable schools/community centers and donating them to deserving public school districts. Schools planned for Phoenix, San Diego, Los Angeles, San Francisco Bay Area, Seattle, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, New York, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Washington, DC, New Orleans, Minneapolis, and Tampa.
Brighten A Life is a 501(c)(3) corporation. Our signature program is The Green Schoolhouse Series. It is through this program that green, sustainable schoolhouses are built on Title 1, low-income Public K-12 Schools to replace old, unhealthy portable classrooms. These schoolhouses are built solely through corporate sponsorships, donations, grants and by volunteers and are a gift to the school. The first schools are to be completed in the 2012 in the Washington Elementary School District in Phoenix, Arizona.

Our Together We Paint & Helping Hammers programs assist low-income and/or special circumstance individuals and organziations who's homes or buildings are in need of revitalization and/or weatherization.
