Description
God called us to care deeply about our neighbors here in Gardenland/Northgate and others he brings us to- especially those forgotten or pushed aside. Caring means sharing, radically- our words, our stuff, our joys and pains, our very lives. God shows us by the power of his Spirit our sinfulness, as well as our infinite worth because of His love shown to us in Jesus, the Christ. God calls us to recognize our utter inability to earn his love or "fix" our own lives, and asks us to depend completely on him. God empowers us to live the truth of that Grace among our neighbors near and far, demonstrating a new way of life, (against all "common sense") started by Jesus and coming to full fruition one day in His Kingdom.
