Since 1957, the mission of Bridge House has been to facilitate positive change and recovery in the lives of those suffering from the diseases of alcohol and drug addiction. Bridge House remains committed to our mission by serving the homeless and indigent throughout greater New Orleans and the Gulf South without regard to race, religion, sexual orientation or handicap. We provide a theraueutic work environment which allows residents to develop work ethics and job skills which enable them to secure and maintain employment. We also serve as a resource for young people who may be considered "at risk"-those who are just coming to realize the consequences of addiction. Bridge House substance-abuse treatment is offered at no cost to the resident.
