Welcome to The Breastfeeding Center for Greater Washington, where we provide you with a supportive community space for your whole family. Our services include free and low-cost classes, one-on-one lactation consultations and a fully-stocked breastfeeding boutique. Our free and low-cost classes offer professional instruction for all stages of your family’s breastfeeding experience, from pregnancy through toddler-hood. For private instruction, schedule a one-on-one lactation consultation with one of our Board Certified Lactation Consultants and get the professional guidance that you and your family need; you can come into our downtown DC office or have one of our consultants come to your home in the DC/MD/VA area. And for all your breastfeeding and pumping accessories, visit our breastfeeding boutique and get personal attention from our knowledgeable staff (or shop from the comfort of your own home). We can assist you with everything from pump (we match prices!) and baby carrier selection to professional bra fittings.
