Description
Brattleboro Union High School is a public school of about 1200 students in Vermont. It serves the greater Brattleboro area in southern Vermont. The STAND club is currently holding a "penny campaign", by collecting donations in pennies to represent the number of people who have been killed in Darfur. Its goal is to raise 500,000 pennies, which will later be donated to a non-profit organization to aid Darfur civilians directly, and spread awareness of the genocide.
