The Brain Injury Association of Missouri, founded in 1982, is a community based organization serving survivors of brain injury, their families, caregivers and professionals. The Brain Injury Association of Missouri offers 25 support groups throughout the states, and provides five one day informational seminars each year in various parts of the State. The Brain Injury Association of Missouri and its Chapters is committed to increasing the public awareness about the impact of brain injury and educates the public about prevention. The Brain Injury Association of Missouri is also committed to providing various recreational, respite and self advocacy opportunities for survivors and their families. The Brain Injury Association of Missouri strives to remain in the forefront of legislative issues that can impact survivors of brain injury.
