Boys Hope Girls Hope of Southern California helps at-risk kids who are academically capable and show great promise, to realize their full potential, by providing a value-centered, family-like home, a quality private education through college and a host of ancillary services and opportunities. The success of our scholars is based upon one simple truth—children who have stable, happy and permanent home lives are much more likely to succeed in school and adulthood. BHGH is not a band-aid solution. In fact, it is best described as a "life program." We provide housing, healthcare, food, travel, celebrations, tutoring, mentoring, a loving extended family—in short, absolutely everything our scholars need. We comprehensively support our kids as they work to achieve their dreams. The results of our unique, holistic approach are profound. Since our opening in 1991, 100% of the kids who graduated high school while living in our homes have gone on to college.
