Description
The mission of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Huntington Valley is to inspire and enable the healthy development of all young people, especially those from disadvantaged circumstances, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens. Since 1967, the Club has been committed to serving the needs of children and families in Huntington Beach, Fountain Valley, and the surrounding communities. The Club currently operates three before and after school care facilities for school age youth, two licensed preschools, and a performing arts center. These six locations provide high quality, affordable programs for more than 6,000 children and families each year. The Club is proud to offer our community’s youth the best programs in the nation: our programs were named most comprehensive and effective by Boys & Girls Clubs of America from a field of more than 3,300 Clubs nationwide in 2003.
