    about

Boys & Girls Club of Walker County is at the forefront of youth development by working with young people from disadvantaged economic, social and family circumstances. We actively seeks to enrich the lives of youth whom other agencies have had difficulty reaching by providing great access to quality programs that will enhance their lives and shape their future We offer daily access to a broad range of programs in five core areas: Character and Leadership Development Education and Career Development Health and Life Skills Arts and Culture Sports, Fitness and Recreation We offers young people with what they need and want most: adults who respect and listen to them; a safe environment where they can have fun and prosper; and interesting, constructive activities that channel youthful energy into challenging pursuits. All our programs incorporate the Youth Development Strategy, fostering a sense of belonging, competence, usefulness and influence among young people.
