Description
The Boys & Girls Club of Manhattan, Kansas is a non-profit organization that provides before-school programs, after-school programs, and full-day summer programs for youth ages 6-18 years. Boys & Girls Club programs engage young people in diverse activities with peers and caring adults that enable them to develop self-esteem and a sound moral compass.
The Boys & Girls Club of Manhattan provides a compelling alternative to youth crime, drugs and other negative influences that affect our youth today. It is a safe place that kids can call their "own" where qualified staff and caring volunteers give members the opportunity to develop into responsible and productive citizens.
Taking into account that over 50% of our members are considered to be at the "below poverty" level, donations received allow us to keep costs at a minimum so all families in Manhattan can afford to have their children enrolled in the Boys & Girls Club.
