Description
The Del-Mar-Va Council provides the Del-Mar-Va Penninsula with a variety of support and service functions to ensure that local Scouting programs remain healthy. These include professional counseling and administration, volunteer recruitment and cultivation, commissioner service, monthly and weekend training sessions for leaders, organization of new units, youth recruitment campaigns, camping and outdoor facilities, a fully staffed Scout Service Center, program materials and literature, liability insurance, background checks on all new adult leaders, planning tools, council and district activities and service projects, and other program aids.
