Description

Boston University’s Dance Marathon is an 18-hour event that raises money for Pediatric AIDS. We donate to Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation (EGPAF) and Camp Heartland. EGPAF is a foundation dedicated to pediatric AIDS research for treatment and prevention options for children. This world-wide organization is credited with the drastic lowering of mother to child transmission of HIV through breast milk. Camp Heartland is a camp located with its main campground in Willow River, Minnesota. It is a safe haven for kids infected and affected by HIV/ AIDS. Campers here go to camp for a week free of cost and are surrounded with love and support and freed of the stigma accompanying the disease.
