The Boston Renaissance Charter Public School, a tuition-free public school opened in 1995, is located in the historic theatre district of Boston. Renaissance serves 1,240 children in pre-kindergarten through grade six, offering choice for families from every neighborhood in Boston through a lottery admission process. Educators, parents, and community partners work together to enforce a shared vision for every student to become a proficient or advanced listener, speaker, reader, writer, mathematician, scientist, creative artist, and critical thinker.
