Boston Asian: Youth Essential Service (BAYES) is a community-based, nonprofit organization with over 36 years of experience serving Asian youth, ages 12-18, who face challenging and high-risk circumstances, and yet have extremely limited access to culturally competent services and programs. YES offers a broad array of services to respond to the specific needs and interests of youth participants: individual and family counseling, case management, school support services, including school drop-out prevention, college exploration and readiness; job-readiness, career exploration, work experience; youth leadership development; gang intervention services, court-diversion services; substance abuse prevention; life skills training; GED plus college and career readiness program; wellness programs; interpreting, advocacy and referral services; and art and cultural enrichment. The agency’s mission is to inspire youth to discover and actualize their greatest potential.
