Description
Bookfriends International, NFP is an educational charity that sends trextbooks to schools and libraries in Tanzania, Africa. It is completely volunteer staffed and maintains very low overhead. Our costs are constituted of some supplies, rent for a warehouse and shipping costs to Africa.
Books are donated by schools, libraries, and individuals. They are shipped via sea container and one container (20,000 books) costs about $8,000 to send.
We primaril;y need donations for shipping costs.
