Description
The purpose behind the foundation is to raise money to help small youth organizations or community groups organize activities and/or events for high risk youth living in various areas of Southern California. The foundation helps raise money for activities such as camping, hiking, sports, recreation or other activities for underprivileged youth.
The Bobby G. Vega Foundation administers funds through a Youth Activities Mini Grant Program.Many times youth organizations have the staff or volunteers to organize a field trip but lack the money for transportation, equipment, tickets or supplies, etc. The Bobby G. Vega Foundation was created to help fill this gap with small mini grants from $25 to $500. Larger funds may be requested depending on the need and number of youth being served.
