Bluff Lake Nature Center (BLNC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to educating Denver area children and preserving one of Colorado's best and most accessible natural areas. BLNC’s award winning science program educates more than 4,000 students every year. The cornerstone of BLNC is 123 acres of open space used as an outdoor classroom. The site offers students, most of whom are low-income, a chance to learn about Colorado’s native ecosystems. In addition, 20,000 people visit Bluff Lake annually free of charge.
