Description

We are a private, nonprofit agency, whose mission is to prevent child abuse, help victims, and strengthen families in Blount County Alabama. Our major programs are: coordination of child physical and sexual abuse investigations and prosecutions in Blount County through the Multi-disciplinary Child Abuse Response Team, free therapy to abuse victims and non-abusing family members, child abuse prevention programs in all K-6th grade classes in Blount County, home based parenting for moms with children prenatal through age 6, and a court mandated divorce education program to lessen the trauma on the children whose parents are divorcing.
