The BTER Foundation supports patient care, therapist education and research in biotherapy - the use of animals to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of illnesses. These medical treatments include leech therapy, maggot therapy, bee venom therapy, phage therapy, seeing eye dogs, cancer-detecting dogs, and many more.
