Since 1961, Big Brothers Big Sisters of San Diego County has been providing trusted mentors to San Diego’s children. In our goal is to serve up to 4,000 children in the next five years. Big Brothers Big Sisters’ vision is successful mentoring relationships for all children who need and want them, contributing to better schools, brighter futures, and stronger communities for all. We serve children, ages 7-18, through the following programs: Community Based Mentoring, Amachi (mentoring children of prisoners), Bigs in Schools, Operation Bigs and High School Bigs.
