Description
We are a branch of the current BBBS organizations that you currently support. We currently cover 7 surrounding counties. Not only do we offer social services but our biggest job is providing children who need a positive role model and positive experiences. The children in our program have either personal, family, financial or social problems who need help in some way. Half of the children in our program are referred to us by DCFS. We have the traditional Big Brother program where a volunteer spends 10 - 12 hours a month with a child, we have a school program where we visit weekly and have volunteers go once a week to hang out with the children and we also host and provide transportation to parties or activities where children go to play and have a good time.
