Big Brothers Big Sisters Of Greater Memphis, Inc. is a non-profit agency that matches at-risk girls and boys, ages 5 to 17, with responsible, motivated volunteers who serve as mentors. Founded in 1969, our mission is to provide children facing adversity with strong and enduring, professionally supported one-to-one relationships that change their lives for the better, forever. Our vision is for all children to achieve success in life. We are an organization that is positive, active, inclusive, trustworthy, empowering, hopeful, inspiring and community-oriented. We serve Shelby, Crittenden and DeSoto Counties, as well as the city of Memphis; our children are from all ethnicities and economic backgrounds.
