Big Brothers Big Sisters of Broward County was founded in 1973. In 2007, our agency provided over 23,500 hours of volunteer service to over 1,400 youth matched in our programs. Our professional staff carefully works with the volunteers and children to ensure that the experience of BBBS is one that is dynamic, fulfilling and fun for both the child and the volunteer.
At the 2008 National Conference, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Broward County received the Gold Standard Award, which recognizes agencies that achieved double-digit growth in revenue and children served. This places us among the top six percent of the over 400 Big Brothers Big Sisters agencies.
